While Supplies Last

Wow!  I just visited the online Close To My Heart ordering system, and there are even more new items in the While Supplies Last section.  Best part is, they start as low as $1 each, and up to 81% off!  Yikes!

One of my faves is last year's "Valentine's" paper pack, Sweetheart for only $3.  (Includes 10 sheets cardstock & 12 sheets B&T patterns.)   And the coordinating MyStickease are only $2.  Lots of other little goodies are out there too.

Don't forget, if you order $25 worth of items from the Autumn/Winter 2011 catalog, you can get that awesome Rock The Block promotion for just $15.  And I am also sending a special little something with all $25+ orders this month as well.  So, get a few new things, a few great bargains, and a great special promotion all in one order and save on shipping!  Enjoy...

Get Your Deal On - While Supplies Last!

Everyone knows I love a good deal - after all, some of my favorite stores are Tuesday Morning, Big Lots, and thrift stores, lol.  So I'm always really excited when Close To My Heart marks down my favorite scrapbooking and card making supplies.  I cruised over this morning to check out the While Supplies Last section of the web store, where there are currently deals of up to 80% off!

Since these are mostly retired products, everything is while supplies last only, and can change at any time.  Here are a few of my favorite things that are available right now:

Creative Basics Emporium Collection

For only $2, this comes with 16 sheets of double-sided paper (8 each of 2 patterns) plus 8 yards of ribbon.  I personally love to use the Creative Basics with the workshop patterns in the Wishes card making pattern book to make loads of cards quickly.

Passages Bundle 2

For just $7.50 (less than half-price!), this bundle comes with a paper packet of 12 patterned papers (2 each of 6 patterns) and ten coordinating cardstocks, plus a package of embellishments.  The vintage papers in this pack are great for masculine or heritage scrapbook pages, as well as some manly cards.

Embellishments and More

There are also lots of embellishment options, including ribbon collections for $4, an assortment of felt die-cuts for $1.50, and these gorgeous self-adhesive Cherry-O Pearl embellishments marked down to $3.25.

So head on over and get yourself some deals, while they last!  I know what I'm going to go buy...

News and Sales Bulletins

First, I'd like to apologize for my extended absence.  Apparently The Boy brought a bug home from school, and it hit me even harder than him.  We spent a few days on the couch together, he is as obnoxious as ever, and I am finally finding enough energy to do more than struggle through the day!

I don't have a project to share today, unfortunately.  Maybe the energy will stick around long enough today for me to finish a layout I have in progress, and I can share it tomorrow!  However, what I do want to share with you are a plethora of sales and special offers I've received in the last few days, as well as a bit of news which I imagine most of you who care will have already heard, but just in case...  Anyway, on with the fun stuff first!

Lawsuit News
Most of you affected by this have probably already heard the news, but I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of this.  If you own a Cricut and use third party software with it, you will want to be aware of some legal news regarding Make The Cut and Sure Cuts A Lot.  You can read the full details at Scrapbook Update, but the short story is that ProvoCraft is suing Sure Cuts A Lot, and Make The Cut has already settled with PC.

My personal views are such that I will continue to use my copy of MTC with my Expression, simply because I have a newer machine that I can continue to update while leaving my E update-free.  When that machine dies, I will be researching alternate cutters from other manufacturers.  I love my ProvoCraft products, but I also love the flexibility allowed by being able to cut images from other sources.  I respect PC's rights to use legal means to protect their products as they desire, and I will not join in on the boycott that several have joined.  I knew when I purchased my machines that they were cartridge-based only; I just didn't know there was another option available.

I encourage everyone affected to read the articles for themselves, and make their own decision regarding their personal situation.
